show is sanctioned by and held the guidelines of ANCCE (National
Association of Purebred Spanish Horse
Breeders of Spain).The show will be judged by an approved ANCCE Spanish Judge.The
show is being sponsored in part by the USPRE Association. All events
will be located in the Anderson Coliseum.

September 3 : The VMI Cross Country Relay Season Opener
Location: Oak Hill Cross Country
September 3 - 5: Fall Arabian Classic
Arabian Horse Association rated, USDF rated, and USEF "A" rated
Arabian, Half Arabian and Dressage horse show.
Featured are Sport Horse, Dressage, Working Hunter, all seats of
Equitation (hunt seat, reining seat, and saddle seat), Sidesaddle,
Halter, Liberty, English & Country Pleasure, Western
Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, Native Costume, Trail, and Western
Horsemanship competition. Highlights for Saturday evening include
Mounted Native Costume, Liberty, Dog Races and Achievement Award
Presentation with a reception. Admission is FREE! This show will be

September 7: Old-Time Music Jam Mountain music jam session honoring our mountain heritage.
Musicians welcome to play and audience encouraged to dance and sing
along. Concessions available. Sessions held the 2nd Tuesday of each
month starting at 6pm. Location: Anderson Coliseum, Work Horse Cafe.
September 9-12: Virginia Quarter Horse Association Breeder's
Futurity
Quarter horses from around Virginia and surrounding states will
compete in a wide range of halter and performance classes during
this three-day show. This show will be located in the Anderson Coliseum, Ault Pavilion, Moore Arena.
