January 1 - March 1: Winter Schooling at the Virginia Horse Center

Continue training during the winter months with winter schooling at the Horse Center. Day, Weekend, and Week Schooling packages are offered.

$20.00 per horse per schooling session

$20.00 per stall for day or overnight stabling

(Regardless of stall cleanout)

January 13: Old Time Music Jam - LIVE from the Work Horse Cafe
Mountain music jam session honoring our mountain heritage. Musicians welcome to play and audience encouraged to dance and sing along. Concessions available. Sessions held the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 6pm.

January 15 - 18: Stonewall Country Horse Show I
United States Equestrian Federation "A" rated Hunter and Jumper horse show.

January 24: 40th Annual Eastern Mid Winter Sale
Professional Auction Service's 40th annual sale featuring 250 Quarter and Paint horses. Reception will be Friday evening. Sale horse preview will be held Saturday morning before the sale.
