October 30 - November 1:  Virginia Horse Trials
The Virginia Horse Trials, an abbreviated version of a three-day eventing competition, draws several hundred eventing riders from around the country.

November 7: Virginia Winter Tournament
Competition for saddleseat riding students riding lesson horses. Event will start at 12 Noon.

November 10: Old Time Music Jam - LIVE from the Work Horse Cafe
Mountain music jam session honoring our mountain heritage. Musicians welcome to play and audience encouraged to dance and sing along. Concessions available. Sessions held the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 6pm.
Location: Anderson Coliseum, Work Horse Cafe.
 
November 6-8:  Southwest Virginia Hunter-Jumper Association Medal Finals
Hundreds of horses and riders from Virginia and surrounding states, as well as collegiate teams from around the state, will compete during the three-day hunter and jumper show.

November 13-15:  Virginia Horse Shows Assoc. Associates'  Championship Show
Hundreds of horses and riders, representing the top of their divisions, will come from around the state to compete in three days of hunter championship competition.
