June 8 – 12: O'Connor Eventing Clinic

Olympic riders David and Karen O'Connor, and their distinguished panel of instructors, give the guidance and encouragement you need to reach the next step with your horse... in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Camp focuses on improving horsemanship skills and riding and is open to beginner novice to advanced riders in all disciplines.

June 09: Old Time Music Jam — LIVE from the Appomattox Mezzanine
Mountain music jam session honoring our mountain heritage. Musicians welcome to play and audience encouraged to dance and sing along. Concessions available. Sessions held the 2nd Tuesday of each month starting at 6pm.

June 12 – 14: Mason Dixon Spectacular Paso Fino Show & Futurity
Paso Fino horses will compete in a show line up that includes Bella Forma, Performance, Pleasure, and Classic Fino division classes, plus specialty classes including Trail, Western Pleasure, Country Pleasure and Driving as well as youth classes.

June 18– 21: Shenandoah Arabian Classic Championships

Arabian Horse Association rated, USDF rated, and USEF "A" rated Arabian, Half Arabian and Dressage horse show. Featured are Sport Horse, Dressage, Working Hunter, all seats of Equitation (hunt seat, reining seat, and saddle seat), Sidesaddle, Halter, Liberty, English & Country Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, Native Costume, Trail, and Western Horsemanship competition. Highlights for Saturday evening include Mounted Native Costume, Liberty, Dog Races and Achievement Award Presentation with a reception. Admission is FREE!

June 28:  Special Olympics Equestrian Event
Hoofbeats Therapeutic Riding Center and the Virginia Horse Center invite you to join us for the Special Olympics Equestrian Event this year. The following classes will be offered: English and Western Equitation, Working Trails, Dressage, Showmanship at Halter/Bridle, Musical Kur Exhibition, and Pole Bending. A social gathering for the athletes and coaches is planned for those who come the night before.
