The Virginia Horse Center is the crowning jewel in the Old Dominion's $1B+ equine industry. Your support of the Virginia Horse Center will ensure that the VHC continues as a viable world class equine facility. Our mission is:
  1. To preserve the rural quality and open space that is the Virginia Horse Center;
  2. To continue to provide a safe and sound competition environment for horses and people;
  3. To provide professional services and a superior environment for participants as one of the top equine facilities in the United States;
  4. To be an industry leader for equine education and ethics supporting a number of community based equine programs.
To ensure that future generations of equestrians and horse lovers continue to have a world class equine facility, the VHC Foundation works to secure and manage private support for the Horse Center. The VHC is no longer funded by the state and depends on private gifts as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit foundation.
