The Hunter's Raid reenactment will take place on the historic 197-acre Cameron Plantation two miles north of Lexington.  The site of the reenactment is the actual ground where local militia and Virginia Military Institute cadets camped and met General Hunter's forces as they advanced on Lexington.  Proceeds from this event will help preserve this historic ground and further the mission of the Virginia Horse Center.
